For the love of the hats.
Alpine Science is a community project for people who collect Alpine Hemp Company hats. We love the releases, the hunt for a favorite, and the stories behind the hats that change hands.
We keep collection histories, documented sales, and trades together so collectors can learn from member-submitted records. Our goal is to understand what people collect, what they trade, and how values change over time.
How to use Alpine Science
Add to My Collection
Use this to catalog a hat you own, even when you do not have a transaction to report. Add its name, photo or documentation, condition, and optional edition number. Mark “In my possession” when you have it.
Record a Transaction
Choose what happened, then upload documentation or enter the details manually.
- Purchase: record a hat you bought, its price and date when known, and where you bought it. It is saved in My collection.
- Sale: report your completed sale or a sale you saw online. Include the price, date, source, and proof. It goes to the shared Sales archive for review.
- Trade: record a completed exchange, the items given and received, and any cash. Received hats are added to My collection. This is member-reported history, not a confirmed platform trade.
Keep one record per hat
A Purchase or Trade entry already adds the received hat to your collection. Do not add it again with “Add to My Collection.” Update possession on hats you sold or traded away. To propose a new exchange, use the Trade board.
Collection acquisition details and documents stay private to you and authorized reviewers. Approved hats marked in possession appear on your profile. Sales and their attachments are shared with signed-in members; remove personal and payment information before uploading. Items without documentation remain pending.
Why we ask for support
Running the site involves hosting, a domain, database and document storage, AI document reading, and ongoing maintenance. Some services may be included in a plan or allowance; others are billed separately as we use them.
PayPal contributions are optional and help offset those costs. This is a passion project. Contributions do not buy approvals, rankings, or favorable valuations.
Built around documented history
Members supply records and evidence, and administrators or moderators review submissions. Review does not independently verify a transaction. Estimates depend on the available data and are not guaranteed sale prices. We do not process payments between collectors.
Alpine Science is an independent collector community. It is not the official Alpine Hemp Company website and is not owned by Alpine Hemp Company.
